Shawn O'Brate, contributing writer for Arrowhead Addict, has been a sports journalist for over five years since receiving his Master's in Journalism and Mass Communication from Kansas State University. During his time after college he was the Sports Director for multiple radio stations and newspapers in Wyoming as well as a radio station in southwest Kansas. As a lifelong Chiefs and Royals fan growing up Shawn has been able to see the growth in Kansas City first-hand. As a child and teenager he went to every home game and it planted a seed that would grow into a serious love for sports, specifically football, and anything to do with working around sports.
