The 2019 NFL Draft has now come and gone, so what Chiefs’ position groups are the strongest heading into the 2019 season?

Just like that, the 2019 NFL draft has come and gone. A total of 256 names were called, dreams came true, and teams got better across numerous position groups. It was a fun weekend with lots of surprises, but now the next part of the offseason begins.

Brett Veach had a very complicated task this offseason. He was tasked with taking a Kansas City Chiefs team that was a handful of details away from making it to the Super Bowl and turning them into a champion. Unfortunately, the organization has been fraught with public relations issues the entire offseason making this task all the more difficult.

Fortunately, Veach has done an excellent job so far. The Chiefs went into the draft with some obvious needs on defense. But, they were also hit extremely late with unfortunate information, which seemed to make them divert their draft strategy early to include offensive additions.

For reference, pictured below is a list of each player the Chiefs drafted:

Now, the Chiefs had some popular picks and some not so popular picks. But, the main question following the draft is what position groups on the Chiefs can be considered their strongest heading into the 2019 season? Even more, have the Chiefs improved since they last played in January?
