Around the AFC West: Chiefs continue to dominate their division

Denver Broncos
I keep saying the Russell Wilson trade can’t get any worse and I keep having to eat my words. The Panthers are a bad team with a bad quarterback – inexplicably, the Broncos are worse. The demise and fall of Russell Wilson have been the most shocking. He ended Sunday’s game 19 of 35 for 142 yards and 1 touchdown against a team that benched Sam Darnold earlier this year in favor of Baker Mayfield (he did get injured, but he was still going to sit behind Mayfield).
Denver came into the game with the worst scoring offense in the league and only managed to score a touchdown with 3:24 left in the game – garbage time.
It appears that the team is starting to tear at the seams when video captured defensive lineman Mike Purcell yelling at Wilson.
Mike Purcell is from Highlands Ranch CO, he’s been a #Broncos fan his entire life.

If Nathaniel Hackett doesn’t yell at Russell Wilson, he will.
This damn team needs more accountability.
This should be the ONLY take on this situation. pic.twitter.com/kIikoYedmv
I would make the same face if Purcell yelled at me…but something needs to be done. The team is stuck with a terrible quarterback and a first-year head coach that seems lost. If they don’t figure it out soon, the Broncos are stuck in this purgatory for the foreseeable future.
The only injury the Broncos left with was to linebacker Dakota Allen, who injured his hamstring. The Broncos now sit at 3-8 and are the worst team in the league with a tough schedule, including two matchups with the Chiefs in the coming weeks.
The first of those matchups was supposed to be on Sunday Night Football; however, the Broncos are so bad that NBC gave up the chance to show a game featuring Patrick Mahomes.
How bad are the Broncos? Bad enough that the NFL would take a Patrick Mahomes game out of prime time to avoid subjecting us to them, apparently.

That speaks volumes about the state of the Broncos team. Unfortunately, it does mean we have to be subjected to this:
Before everyone celebrates the Broncos being taken off primetime, know this ...

You're getting Rams-Broncos on Christmas. And you're gonna accept it.
Merry Christmas to us.
Next week, the Broncos travel to Baltimore to take on the Ravens. The Ravens stumbled yet again in an upset loss to the Jaguars and are looking to stay in the playoff picture. I anticipate the Broncos getting beat down yet again and the Ravens walking away with a win.
