Denver Broncos

If there is one thing to take away from the bad season the Chiefs are having, it’s that the Broncos are seemingly having an even worse one. On Thursday Night Football, a Browns team that was basically a walking hospital wing beat the Broncos. Case Keenum had his revenge game. Frankly, this was perfect.

With the Broncos’ loss, they join the Chiefs at the bottom of the AFC West. I guess that’s something. Either way, the Broncos certainly have some issues that cannot seem to be resolved, one of which is the fact that Teddy Bridgewater can’t seem to figure out that the goal is to get 10 yards for a first down, not 9. Bridgewater seems allergic to throwing to the sticks and would rather drop it short and punt. Makes for some exciting football.

But, there is hope for the Broncos as speedy wide receiver Jerry Jeudy (who has camped out on the bench on my fantasy team) is set to make his return. See, he looks excited to enter my starting lineup!

The Broncos also made some moves in advance of the trade deadline, cutting 5 players:

The Broncos have a chance to make a statement on Sunday when they take on the Washington Football Team. If they pull out a win, they will be right back at .500 and not entirely out of the playoff conversation (although I really don’t see any donkeys there). I’m just hoping they fail at some challenges so I have something to laugh at on Sunday!
