Rashard Davis

What’s another speedster on the fastest offense in the National Football League?

Fortunately, Davis’s speed is not what stood out as most impressive in Thursday’s game against the Packers. Instead it was his outstanding route running and ability to be a consistently open target for Kyle Shurmur to find in the open.

Sadly for Rashard Davis, the Chiefs receiving core is stacked and even the backups have the potential to be starters somewhere in the league, so it is extremely unlikely for Davis to make the roster. However, many teams across the league are looking for help at receiver—think the Bills or Bengals in particular.

Graversen has Davis getting cut, and this game may not change that, but it does make him a viable target for teams in the few days after cuts are made.
