Sunday, September 16th, 2012: New Coach, Same Result

There isn’t a lot to say about this game. Jamaal Charles got banged up. Peyton Hillis led the team in carries. The Bills stomped the Chiefs for the second straight year. Somehow, Matt Cassel was still the QB. Romeo Crennel was the coach.

Bills 35, Chiefs 17

Buffalo would go on to finish the season 6-10, tied for (wait for it) LAST PLACE.

We all know how this season ended for the Chiefs. Banners would fly over Arrowhead calling for Scott Pioli’s job. The awful Jovan Belcher murder/suicide happened. People wanted Brady Quinn to start at QB and then he DID. Ricky Stanzi was so bad, he didn’t. Romeo got fired.

Andy Reid got fired.

Hey, it wasn’t all bad…
