JAMAAL CHARLES

In Charles first week back he had a monster game. He touched the ball twenty-one times for a total of 108 yards and three touchdowns. These stats in his first game back from an ankle injury earned him AFC offensive player of the week honors. Expect the Chiefs to feed him the ball early and often and for Charles to produce. The Niners have the second ranked rush defense in the league, but we have the number one running back. Last I checked one beats two so expect to see the Jamaal Charles we all know and love.

KNILE DAVIS

Davis has been the Chiefs workhorse the past couple of weeks while Charles has been limited and he has produced very promising numbers in that time. Throughout the past three games he’s rushed for 318 yards and three touchdowns. Putting up that kind of numbers expect him to still get a fair share of the carries along with Charles.

Between the two of them Davis and Charles have led the chiefs to be one of the most formidable teams in the NFL this year when it comes to running the ball. The Chiefs rank fourth in the league in the run game and they run the ball 47.4 percent of the time, every time (yes, that was an Anchorman reference). The Niners are the second ranked rushing defense in the league. Something has to give somewhere and here’s to hoping that it’s the Niners defense.
