Unlike last Sunday, the Chiefs offense played with a touch of rhythm.

Jamaal Charles limped to the sideline, and the offensive line collapsed quicker than a Jenga tower in front of the Hulk, but Smith took his lemons and created something that, at the very least, was watchable.

While some will write him off as a dink-and-dunking “Captain Checkdown,” Kansas City’s franchise quarterback (cue outrage in three…two…) completed 8-of-12 passes (67 percent) beyond 10 yards, tallying 137 of his 255 passing yards in the process.

When targeting Travis Kelce, Smith posted a 109.7 passer rating.
