Mike Danna, Defensive End

Mike Danna is another player that's difficult to pin down. He's entering free agency and there are multiple big fish on the defense that are also pending free agents. Steve Spagnuolo loves Danna as he's been a very consistent player, who's been solid against the run and rushing the passer.

The case against re-signing him is fairly straightforward. Would the Chiefs be better off focusing on retaining Chris Jones and L'Jarius Sneed over a rotational defensive end? Also, George Karlaftis and Felix Anudike-Uzomah should both take the next steps in their development and Charles Omenihu is also under contract.

The reason I think that re-signing him makes sense is that he shouldn't be super expensive to bring back and given how uncertain Chris Jones' future is, it could be in the team's best interest to keep as many familiar on the defensive line as they can.

Odds that he's back: 45%
