3. Week 9 vs. Miami Dolphins in Frankfurt Germany

When the Chiefs meet the Dolphins in Week 9 in Frankfurt, Germany, only one storyline will matter to most fans: Tyreek Hill.

Yes, at this point, the Chiefs will want this win to head into the Bye week with momentum leading into the last push before the playoffs, but this is the first reunion with the Cheetah since he left the Chiefs in the 2021 offseason in a trade to the Miami Dolphins. Hill was ranked third in receiving yards by a Chiefs receiver, and if he had stayed could have easily been the number one receiver ever to wear the red and gold.

Hill has many fans in Kansas City; the connection between himself and Mahomes had to be seen to be believed. Hill was an integral piece in Super Bowl 54 when Mahomes uncorked the ball to a wide-open Hill in the play now known by one word: WASP.

But with all that love, in the offseason, Hill has made it clear that he is going to make life miserable for the Kansas City Chiefs when they meet in 2023. Hill said, “He is going to be the Chief’s worst enemy.”

This trash talk has made its way to the Chief’s defense, and defensive back L’Jarius Sneed had something to say about Tyreek Hill facing his former team.

Sadly this game will not be in Arrowhead for the homecoming that many desired. Still, this meeting will be essential to put the trash talk to rest and show Tyreek that he is excellent and they appreciate all he did for the organization, but the Chiefs are blazing their path without him.

Game number two can be for all the marbles in Week 18, facing a division rival that has always kept the game close.
