Around the AFC West: Chiefs celebrate after perfect week

Denver Broncos
I won’t lie. I had this as a possible upset game. The Titans had tons of injuries and the Broncos can play in some weird games, but nope – lost that $5. In a game that only earned about 5 minutes of air time on RedZone (yes, the game was that boring), a trick play from the Titans sealed the ultimate Broncos loss…
To add insult to injury, Jerry Jeudy went down with an injury that although not season-ending, is still concerning. He is considered (all of Chiefs Kingdom shudders…) “day to day.” We will see if he is able to go in next week’s matchup. Additionally, the Broncos lost another lineman.
"Broncos tackle Billy Turner’s injury-crossed season has continued as he was moved to injured reserve after leaving Sunday’s loss to the Titans with a knee injury in the second quarter. Turner missed all of the offseason program and training camp due to knee troubles. The Broncos have activated tackle Tom Compton from the physically unable to perform list — he had back surgery in training camp and the Broncos also signed defensive end Jonathan Harris to the roster from the practice squad."
Not a great development for a team that struggles to protect Russell Wilson. Speaking of Wilson, he had a chance to win the game at the end, but a scramble and a tipped pass resulted in an interception that secured the Titans’ win.
Was the Wilson trade the worst in NFL history? It might be…
Next week, we are forced to watch the Raiders and the Broncos. Look, I love a good divisional matchup but the operative word is good. Neither the Raiders nor the Broncos are good and I fully expect this game to be either the worst thing on TV or so exciting you can’t take your eyes off it. There is no middle ground. Either way, I have no idea who wins this one.
