Las Vegas Raiders

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

That’s analysis, right? The Raiders thought they had a gimme when they were ready to take on the Indianapolis Colts who fired head coach Frank Reich last week and replaced him with Jeff Saturday as interim head coach. Saturday had never coached at any level when he entered Sunday’s contest so the assumption was that the Raiders would walk all over the Colts.

Wrong!

Look I get it, a first-year head coach is going to have growing pains, but there is absolutely no excuse for a team that has that much talent and is this deep into a season to lose to someone with the experience level of Jeff Saturday. It’s not acceptable and I do wonder how long Josh McDaniels lasts. Reports are out that the Raiders have confidence in him, but how much of that is just talk? By now, we have all seen the clip of Derek Carr crying over the loss. Again, I just don’t have sympathy for him because he is playing pretty poorly.

Next week, the Raiders play the Broncos. Matt Verderame says it best:

I have no idea which team will ultimately win but it doesn’t matter at this point. Neither team is doing anything in January other than booking trips to Cabo.
