Las Vegas Raiders

The Raiders faced the Colts on Sunday in what I thought would be a Raiders loss. The Colts have been on a roll lately and the Raiders have been shaky so I just assumed Derek Carr would fumble the ball into the end zone or something. I was wrong. Instead of fluky plays costing the Raiders the win, they still had fluky plays, but somehow won. Maybe it is because Derek Carr did this:

The game ended on a last-second field goal from Daniel Carlson (again)…

I really don’t care for the Raiders, but can respect the fact that they are still in the mix this season given everything that has occurred off the field. Now they look ahead at a Sunday Night Football showdown with the Chargers. It’s a win-and-you’re-in scenario. Honestly, given the stakes, I do think the Chargers are going to win, but how crazy would it be if the Raiders beat them? I’m excited!!

The Raiders are yet again, however, facing some off-the-field issues.

We’ll see if this impacts the secondary for the Raiders as they face a tough receiving corp of Keenan Allen and Mike Williams.
