2. Tyreek Hill – Receptions (6.5)

Tyreek Hill is always poised to go off in a big way against any defense in the NFL. That’s the nature of his elite talent and the inability of any one (or even any unit) to really slow him all that much. Like any wager, this is a bet, which is by definition a risk.

That said, Hill has been a little banged up recently and the Chiefs aren’t going to get to the bye week until the end of November, which means they’ve gotta figure out ways to let some key guys get a bit more rest between now and then. If the Giants are as soft as we hope they will be in Week 8, it could be a good chance for the Chiefs to not lean on Hill so much as other guys become open.

Hill is still being given 6 receptions here, so it’s not as if he’s going to be sitting on the sidelines. In fact, he’s already had three games with 6 or fewer receptions in 2021. It’s not the norm, but we think the Chiefs will take what the Giants give them on offense, which means seeing more reps spread around the offense while also giving Hill a chance to rest more.

Pick: Under (-110)
