Los Angeles Chargers

The Chargers are also coming off their bye week, but they’re in a much different mindset than the Raiders. The Chargers continue to find unique ways to lose. However, there seems to be more optimism now that Justin Herbert has shown that he really has some skill.

Herbert looks to be a great long-term quarterback for the Chargers and this bye week may have served as just what he needed: a chance to learn and prepare while the rest of the team got healthy. Not only that, but the Chargers will be hosting an even worse Jacksonville Jaguars team in Week 7.

The Jags have struggled mightily this year as the magic of Gardner Minshew appears to have worn off. This is the perfect game for Herbert to figure out how to win. With Joey Bosa being able to rest after nursing numerous injuries, the formidable defensive front of the Chargers will likely be much better.

Other than that, the Chargers remained fairly quiet during the bye. I do anticipate that there will be many people showing Herbert highlights come Monday morning.

Game time is 3:25 p.m. on Sunday.
