Here’s everything you need in one location to get ready to watch the Chiefs host the Raiders.
There’s no rivalry quite like the energy of a Raiders Week, which means Kansas City Chiefs fans and players alike should be appropriately fired up for Week 5 on the NFL calendar.
The Chiefs enter the game on an incredible streak of 13 consecutive wins and a perfect 4-0 record to start the 2020 season. They’ve reeled impressive wins against the likes of the Baltimore Ravens and New England Patriots and are hoping to run their division record to 2-0 after besting the L.A. Chargers in Week 2.
As for the Raiders, what began as a stellar beginning to the season with two straight wins (including a strong win over the New Orleans Saints), Jon Gruden’s team has lost two straight games. The schedule has been tough for the Raiders in the early going, with those losses to the Pats and Buffalo Bills, and now they have a chance to gain some good momentum heading into the softer part of their schedule.
For the Chiefs, this is a chance to create some serious distance in the West and keep pressure on other AFC contenders to keep pace. (Plus it’s also a great chance to stomp the Raiders again, which is always a good time.) As for Las Vegas, a road victory over K.C. would be a rallying point for Gruden, Carr, and a young team trying to believe they can reach the postseason.
