Baltimore Ravens

With likely the easiest start to a season that a team can ask for, the Baltimore Ravens faced the tanking Miami Dolphins and rebuilding Arizona Cardinals. The hype surrounding them was unreal coming into Week 3 when they faced off against the Chiefs and took their first loss. Quarterback Lamar Jackson was being praised as one of the top quarterbacks in the league as many thought the offense was one of the most explosive in the league.

The hype has worn off since as the Ravens have gone 1-1 since losing in Kansas City, throwing 4 touchdowns and 5 interceptions. Week 4 they were torn apart by the Cleveland Browns who seemed to find an offensive flow finally and then traveled to face the Pittsburgh Steelers who already had their backup quarterback in with Ben Roethlisberger out for the season. It took overtime to barely walk away with a victory, despite Pittsburgh having to put their third-string quarterback in at one point.

Baltimore is falling downhill quickly given the defense is not what it used to be and the offense is young and lacking the playmakers with experience. If the Browns continue to look better than their first three performances and gain traction, Baltimore could be in trouble when it comes to winning the AFC North.

Tennessee Titans

Every year it seems that the Tennessee Titans start off with a big win that they shouldn’t be expected to pull off. That came when they trampled over the Cleveland Browns in Week 1. However, the team also is known for hyping their own train and wondering why no one respects them or takes them seriously. Well, that’s because this might be one of the most inconsistent teams in the league for years now.

One of the forgotten about teams in the league, Tennessee has a sneaky talented roster that would shock most people. Unfortunately, the quarterback play from Marcus Mariota is not only inconsistent but often unavailable given his extensive injury history. The defense has played well through their first five games for the most part, but the offensive line has let them down in a major way.

Giving up 22 sacks on the season, Mariota has rarely had time to get through his progressions. There have also been questionable calls by head coach Mike Vrabel like continuing to send their kicker Cairo Santos out to kick a field goal when he had already missed three previous to that. Titans ended up leaving points on the board throughout the 14-7 loss and the locker room is more than upset.
