Another batch of players were revealed in the NFL’s Top 100 players of 2019 list and another member of the Chiefs was among the listings.

It was only a matter of time.

The Kansas City Chiefs have already placed a significant amount of players on the NFL’s Top 100 of 2019 countdown and that’s before getting to their biggest offensive weapons in Tyreek Hill and Patrick Mahomes. In case anyone was worried that offseason drama might preclude the league from making Hill a part of things, the wide receiver showed up at No. 19 on Tuesday night.

Hill has been a rising star in the NFL for the last three seasons, but he’s been an instant hit since he arrived. He’s made three straight Pro Bowls in his first three seasons—first as an electric returner and offensive weapon utilized all over the place and lately as a burgeoning wide receiver learning to use his speed to consistently stretch defenses.

This year, Hill turned the corner to elite wideout as his ability to track the ball and run routes began to match his top speed. He’s still arguably the NFL’s fastest player, but he’s also squarely in the conversation for top receiver in the league as well. Another season like this past year, when he set the Chiefs franchise record for most receiving yards in a single season (with 1,479), might just firm up his place next to Odell Beckham and DeAndre Hopkins.

Hill was recently cleared by authorities and the NFL from any wrongdoing after investigations into child abuse and child neglect brought his family into the spotlight all offseason long. Hill was suspended by the team from participating in offseason activities, but is now free to be back with his teammates and coaches in training camp. No doubt, Hill will be anxious to play actual football and put the season behind him.

Hill’s previous entries into the NFL’s Top 100 player list include stops at No. 35 (2017) and 40 (2018).
