Where Andy Isabella fits with Kansas City

As I alluded to earlier, I see Andy Isabella as a slot receiver. With his ability to create separation, I can see a team giving him a chance on the outside; However, it still makes the most sense for a team needy for a No. 3 receiver, or a slot guy. Kansas City is in need of a slot guy to add to the combo of Sammy Watkins and Tyreek Hill. Isabella could be their guy in the second round of the draft.

While many would argue that Kansas City does not need another small, speedy receiver, I would argue that a smaller and speedier receiver may make the most sense for the Chiefs offense. For Kansas City, everything is about pushing the ball downfield and what you can do with the ball after the catch. Andy Isabella provides a great YAC receiver with solid route running ability.

If Kansas City can acquire Isabella, his ability to move with the football will be very exciting for the Chiefs. With Patrick Mahomes at the helm, he can use Watkins, Hill, and Isabella for routes at any level of the field. If they wish to bring in a guy like Isabella, they add even more dangerousness to a lethal offense.
