The official 2019 NFL Draft order has been set, and the Kansas City Chiefs are set to pick at No. 29 in the first round. Here’s the full list.
Now that Super Bowl 53 is in the books and the New England Patriots are, once again, finished celebrating in the streets after another victory parade, the attention for football fans largely turns to the offseason. Specifically, many fans are most excited at this point in the calendar year anyway knowing that it’s time for draft prep.
The 2019 NFL Draft will be here in late April, but even the nearly three-month prep time doesn’t deter the most fervent of draftniks, who love going over scouting reports, mock drafts, recent rumors, pro day results and the like.

This year, general manager Brett Veach will have a full arsenal of picks at his disposal for the first time since he came into his role with the Kansas City Chiefs. Last year’s draft was missing a first round pick due to the previous offseason’s trade up for Patrick Mahomes in the first round. While it’s clear that trade was well worth it given the MVP results, it did keep Veach’s first draft class from having the sort of luster and impact that most GMs would like to see.
Veach not only has a first round pick for the first time, but he also has two second-round choices to use as he sees fit after trading mercurial cornerback Marcus Peters to the L.A. Rams. All together, Veach will have 3 of the top 60 picks to use to help his team make the leap to the Super Bowl.
Here’s a complete look at the first round, set to begin on Thursday, April 25.
