The NFL revealed the rosters for the 2019 Pro Bowl, which features six Kansas City Chiefs players, four of which are starters.

The NFL revealed the rosters for the 2019 Pro Bowl on Tuesday night, and the Kansas City Chiefs had a total of six players honored—four of whom were starters. They also had two of the single biggest snubs.

On offense, it comes as no surprise that Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes was included, a man who is the prohibitive favorite for MVP and is listed as the starter for the American Football Conference. Mahomes, who has had an absolutely stellar season so far, was one of the leading overall vote-getters as the process went along.

Complimenting Mahomes will be one of his biggest targets in tight end Travis Kelce, who is listed as the top tight end for the Pro Bowl. Indianapolis Colts tight end Eric Ebron will be backing him up.

Wide receiver Tyreek Hill got the nod for the Pro Bowl as well, behind only DeAndre Hopkins, wide receiver for the Houston Texans. There was some speculation as to whether or not Hill would make it into the Pro Bowl as a wide receiver, but it appears the league and its fans took proper notice. Hill is listed above Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown and Chargers wide receiver Keenan Allen.

A rather surprising name for Chiefs fans is offensive tackle Eric Fisher, and this is the first Pro Bowl of his career. Also making his first appearance is Anthony Sherman, the Chiefs fullback and the lone rep at his position at this year’s exhibition for the AFC.

In addition to the offense, Chiefs outside linebacker Dee Ford made the Pro Bowl at his position, although Denver Broncos linebacker Von Miller and Texans linebacker Jadeveon Clowney are listed as starters ahead of him. This is also the first Pro Bowl of Ford’s career, which is a huge accomplishment in and of itself.

Two big names were snubbed from the Pro Bowl, however. Star defensive end Chris Jones did not make it into the Pro Bowl, as Texans end J.J. Watt and Cleveland Browns end Myles Garrett got the nod ahead of him. Chargers defensive end Melvin Ingram is also listed on the Pro Bowl roster. The fact that Jones did not get in as a first option is perplexing, as he’s enjoyed the best season of his career and is third in sacks in the league with 14. An electric player who has absolutely dominated the field, Jones was expected to get in—especially for his performance as of late, a record-setting streak of 10 sacks in 10 his last games.

Another Pro Bowl snub is right tackle Mitchell Schwartz, who has consistently been one of the top right tackles in the league. According to Pro Football Focus, Schwartz is the #4 rated right tackle in the entire league. Tennessee Titans tackle Taylor Lewan, Steelers tackle Alejandro Villanueva, and Fisher all got the nod ahead of Schwartz.

Nonetheless, the Chiefs have the second-most Pro Bowl selections, tied with the Steelers (6), and behind only the Chargers (7).
