The Kansas City Chiefs will be taking on the Los Angeles Rams this week. Will the two titanic offenses break the scoreboard?

Another week down and another win for the Kansas City Chiefs. This week the Chiefs were able to defeat the Arizona Cardinals, a team that has struggled through most of this season. The defense saw the return of Justin Houston, and with his return, we saw the pass rush starting to reach its full potential. Kansas City did a fantastic job playing complimentary football.

If one player was double-teamed, another player did an excellent job of taking advantage of their one on one matchup and pushing the pocket. It was on constant display all afternoon and could be coming together at the perfect time for the Chiefs. Patrick Mahomes also displayed his toughness on Sunday. In a game where he was sacked five times, which is the offensive lines worst performance on the year, Mahomes was able to keep his cool and avoid any turnovers due to getting antsy in the pocket.

On top of Mahomes display of toughness he went and broke another record. This week Mahomes pushed his way past the franchise touchdown record of 30, a record that has stood for more than 50 years. Mahomes does not seem worried about records unless it is the teams win and loss record. The Chiefs are currently sitting at 9-1, and with a loss by the New England Patriots on Sunday the Chiefs have an opportunity to keep a game and a half lead if they win this week.

Taking on the Los Angeles Rams on Monday night is no easy task, but one that the Chiefs are equipped to handle. The Chiefs and Rams were originally scheduled to play at a neutral site in Mexico City and face off in what is the most anticipated matchup of the season. Instead, the game has now been moved to Los Angeles after the field in Mexico was deemed unfit to play on.  The Rams have won a lot of close games recently, and have lost some players due to injury this season. Knowing this who are some of the key players the Chiefs need to know heading into this weeks game? Let’s jump in and find out.
