San Francisco 49ers vs. Kansas City Chiefs: Everything you need to know
By Matt Conner

From broadcast info to pre-game analysis, here’s a home base for you to prepare for all angles of today’s Chiefs home opener against San Francisco.
For the first two weeks of 2018, the Kansas City Chiefs have enjoyed a magical season.
Patrick Mahomes is well ahead of any perceived learning curve. Every offensive target is working out magnificently, overpowering two straight opponents on the road who had their preseason passes already stamped for the postseason.
The Chiefs have put the Chargers behind them in the standings and shaken the monkey from their backs placed there by the Pittsburgh Steelers. Through two weeks, this team has Vegas thinking the Chiefs could be serious Super Bowl contenders—and we happen to agree.
Now the Chiefs bring their exciting product home for the masses at Arrowhead to consume. A dynamic offense will hopefully continue to make up for a porous defense against the visiting San Francisco 49ers, who are hoping to pull off a bit of a road upset and avoid falling into a 1-2 hole to start the season.
Today’s game is going to be a great one with two of the NFL’s best young quarterbacks—Mahomes and Jimmy Garoppolo of the Niners—showing what they can do in a Sunday afternoon exhibition.
