2. Melvin Gordon, Los Angeles Chargers

Melvin Gordon’s career with the Chargers started off a bit shaky during his rookie season in 2015. With an increased workload over time, Gordon has proved to be an effective and elusive back. He has shown the ability to be effective in breaking tackles and with better blocking would have been a top five rusher. If the Chargers have a better offensive line, he could see an uptick in production as the offense may turn progressively towards the running game with an aging quarterback.

2016-2017:

284 carries, 1,105 yards, 3.9 yards per carry, 8 touchdowns.

Prediction:

290 carries, 1,189 yards, 4.1 yards per carry, 10 touchdowns.
