The Los Angeles Chargers head to Kansas City for a Saturday night divisional showdown where the winner takes control of the AFC West.

The Los Angeles Chargers are on a win streak coming into Saturday night’s game against the Kansas City Chiefs in hopes to take control of the AFC West. The Chiefs have won the last seven games against the Chargers and are hoping to extend that to eight and stay ahead of the division. With weapons on both sides for each team, how could you ask for a better game?

Chargers wide receiver Keenan Allen holds down the number five spot in most receiving yards this season while Chiefs wide receiver Tyreek Hill is only two spots behind him. The Chiefs additionally have tight end Travis Kelce who is sitting at number nine. Both Hill and Kelce look to surpass the 1,000-yard receiving mark this week to break a franchise record.

Chiefs rookie running back Kareem Hunt broke his 1,000-yard rushing mark last week against the Oakland Raiders. He looks to have another breakout game against the Chargers like the one he had in week 3 when he rushed 17 times for 172 yards and a touchdown. The Chargers have one of the worst run defenses in the league so giving Hunt the ball is the Chiefs best option.

When it comes to the defensive side, both teams have impressive talent at the cornerback position. Chiefs cornerback Darrelle Revis had a great game last week after starting out struggling against the New York Jets. Revis only allowed one reception in eight targets against the Jets locking down that side of the defense all afternoon. Chiefs will also have star cornerback Marcus Peters back for this game as he looks to get back on track and on the field with his team for a much-needed victory.

The biggest question will be who will get after the quarterback more in this showdown? Los Angeles edge rushers Joey Bosa and Melvin Ingram are having a great year while Chiefs edge rusher Justin Houston has struggled with no help coming from the other side. The Chiefs line looked alive last week and the additions of edge rushers Tamba Hali and rookie Tanoh Kpassagnon helped relieve Houston of some double teams. Will the Chiefs be able to get enough pressure on Chargers quarterback Philip Rivers?
