Today’s episode features the host of Locked on Chargers to get you inside information for this weekend’s game.

The Kansas City Chiefs have a short week this week as they have a little bit of a quick turnaround

playing the Los Angeles Chargers

on Saturday night. Luckily for K.C., they just played at home and they will play at home again on Saturday as well. Traveling will be an issue for the Chargers, but they are a very good team that have found their identity. Los Angeles will be looking to take over first place in the AFC West when they travel to Kansas City.

Kansas City still has things they need to work on. They have a big challenge coming up on Saturday and they will definitely need to be ready to play on both sides of the ball. The Chargers won on Sunday afternoon so the Chiefs could get a 1.5 game lead on the Chargers with a win on Saturday. Phillip Rivers is playing fantastic and the Chargers defense is a force as well. It should be a fun game to watch if the Chiefs play like they are capable of playing.

Kansas City lost practice squad offensive lineman Damien Mama to the New York Giants on Tuesday. Mama was looked at as a project but will now be someone else’s project. Since he was signed from the Chiefs practice squad, he will have to stay on the Giants active roster the rest of the season. Mama played both center and guard for the Chiefs preseason and looked like a player that could really move for his size. The Chiefs depth at offensive line has been questionable all season so losing a player from the practice squad is a little surprising. None the less this is the time of year that teams start making these moves.
