The Kansas City Chiefs hit the road for the first time to face the Cincinnati Bengals. Here’s all the information you need to catch the game.

It’s time for a road trip for the Kansas City Chiefs. Head coach Andy Reid will take his show on the road for the first time of the 2017 season on Saturday, this time to Paul Brown Stadium in Cincinnati for a preseason showdown with the Bengals.

The biggest talking points in any preseason game will be about the rookies on both sides. In this instance, Chiefs fans will get their first glimpse of the newest offensive weapons for Cincy—namely speedy wide receiver John Ross and dynamic running back Joe Mixon. Early reports are that Mixon is already looking the part and Ross is nursing an injury. Hopefully he’ll make his presence felt because a Ross vs. Tyreek Hill battle for the NFL’s fastest player could be a fun subplot all season long.

For the Chiefs, this game will largely be about getting players into game shape. Andy Reid already said that some guys won’t play who did last time as the roster begins to slowly come into view. While it’s fun to give 90 players a chance to play, the reality is that Reid and company have to get 53 guys prepared for a very important opening game. So if you see some guys sitting on the sideline for all 60 minutes on Saturday, it’s a good idea of who will get cut when final rosters are due.
