Chiefs re-sign Mike Person
Last season, the Chiefs brought in veteran offensive lineman Mike Person to help provide depth along the line. He didn’t play for the Chiefs but he did start 14 games the previous season for the Falcons at center. He can also play guard, giving the Chiefs a cheap, experienced veteran back-up for the younger guys along the line.
Contract: 1 year, $775K

Chiefs restructure contracts for Derrick Johnson, Anthony Sherman
In order to fit Bennie Logan and others under the salary cap, two players found themselves with restructured deals. Thanks to Derrick Johnson and Anthony Sherman’s flexibility, Dorsey created enough cap space to shore up the roster and keep both veteran players.
