The only one-stop place for Chiefs fans to get all the NFL news and rumors from around the league from the point of view of the Kansas City franchise.
It’s Friday, Addicts, which means its time for another weekly round up of all the NFL news and rumors from around the league. The Franchise Tag deadline brought us a number of headlines, each one worthy of being the lead. Of course Chiefs fans are largely most concerned with the Chiefs failure to agree to terms with Eric Berry.

As far as national stories though, Von Miller’s record setting deal for defensive players, and Mo Wilkerson getting a contract seemingly out of nowhere top the list. Deadlines spur action…and headlines. And don’t think the NFL doesn’t know that. They love the fact that they’ve dominated headlines for the past week. And with training camps about to start up, the NFL will continue to dominate headlines from now until the end of the season.
Lead Story: NFL Is Back In Business
Beginning next week, the first of the NFL Training Camps will open up with rookies and quarterbacks reporting early to kick things off. Teams will start moving into local college facilities to utilize the practice fields and training areas as they begin to kick off the rust and look ahead to the 2016 season.
For the Chiefs, that means a return to Missouri Western State University in St Joseph, Missouri. The quarterbacks and rookies arrive first on Tuesday, July 26. They will be followed three days later by the rest of the 90 man roster. Saturday, July 30 will be the first full team practice, and that’s when things start to get interesting.
Full Chiefs 2016 Training Camp Schedule
Chiefs twitter comes alive when Training Camp gets started. Your local team reporters will provide with play by plays, and those in turn will be dissected by an army of fans, bloggers, outside experts, and even the writers themselves. It’s especially entertaining as you see the different perspectives. Is a TD pass the sign of an improved passing game, or a declining secondary? Is a sack proof that Dee Ford is starting to get it, or that Eric Fisher is still struggling? You can twist things any way you’d like, and everyone will.
Arrowhead Addict will be bringing you coverage of Chiefs Training Camp, with Matt Verderame providing the recaps and the team of writers breaking it down for you.
