Pro Football Focus has unveiled the 2023 edition of the Top 25 Players Under the Age of 25 list and Creed Humphrey is near the top.

The Kansas City Chiefs might not have as many players on the various Under-25 lists that pop up each NFL offseason as they used to. However, that doesn’t mean they’re devoid of young talent. While the Chiefs have a lot of exciting young players, at least one of those is good enough to be considered among the elite players in the league: center Creed Humphrey.

There were a few seasons in recent memory when the Chiefs owned these lists. Patrick Mahomes, Tyreek Hill, Chris Jones, and others would populate the top of them, showing just how bright the Chiefs’ future would be. As those players moved into their prime years, the Chiefs have been busy building a bright young foundation to generate yet another wave of prospects.

Pro Football Focus recently released their Top 25 Players Under 25 list for the 2023 season and Humphrey came in ranked at No. 6 overall. The Chiefs’ center made his first Pro Bowl last season and was a second-team All-Pro as well in just his second year in the league.

The Kansas City Chiefs selected Humphrey in the second round of the 2021 NFL Draft out of Oklahoma as a move to upgrade the position after going with Austin Reiter for a couple of seasons. He was third in Offensive Rookie of the Year voting.

Trey Smith, a fellow second-year lineman, made the list last year with Humphrey, so it will be interesting if he can bounce back next season. Micah Parsons, pass rusher for the Cowboys, came in at No. 1 overall on this year’s list.
