Personality

Quite frankly, some of you were just being ridiculous when it came to this.  I can’t even count how many times I heard or saw someone say “Houston needs to learn from Tamba.”  Let me tell you something, that is EXACTLY what he did.

How quickly many fans seem to have forgotten about that time Tamba was holding out in order to get “Ware money”.  Yup.  That’s right, Tamba was once “greedy” and “selfish”…oh, until he re-signed with the Chiefs and everything was all good again.  Justin Houston did the same thing.

And, on top of that, some of you are down right hypocritical.  Are you really going to tell me that you would do your job for far less than what you know you are worth?  For far less than another company would offer you?  You are either a saint or a liar, I’ll let you think it over.  Hey, I love writing for Arrowhead Addict, but if Sports Illustrated came a calling, I’d be out of here mid-sentence!  Sorry Matt.  And most of you would do the same if you got a better offer for what you do.  Justin Houston has the same right.  It doesn’t matter how much money we’re talking about or that it’s a game.  This is Houston’s life and livelihood.  He has every right to do what is best for him and his family.
