AFC West: best and worst draft picks for every team in the division

Kansas City Chiefs
Best Pick: Marcus Peters, Cornerback, Washington
Yes, he has (off-field) questions. But you’re playing in a pass-heavy league and grabbed the consensus top cornerback at pick No. 18.
Peters shows all the makings of a lock-down corner, and if there’s one coach equipped to curb volatile personalities, it’s Andy Reid.
The first-rounder has some habits (downfield jostling, temperament, etc.) that need to be kicked, but he’s a Day 1 starter—regardless of Sean Smith’s status—whose ceiling is in the clouds.
Worst Pick: Ramik Wilson, Inside Linebacker, Georgia
Wilson stuffed the stat sheet with heaps of tackles; so did Josh Mauga.
The bulk of Wilson’s tackles stemmed from him sliding laterally and having ball-carriers funneled and fed to him. However, he was routinely mauled when blockers engaged him, which doesn’t bode well when your primary goal is to stop the run.
