Yes, dangerous, for other teams that is. The Chiefs (2-3) record is a deceiving one. Two of those losses were very close, dare I say winnable games for the Chiefs. Both came down to the fact that the Chiefs just made too many mistakes to walk away with wins on the road against two high caliber teams in the Broncos, and the 49ers. At the end of the day, if they were in Arrowhead I think they could have won both of those games. The good news is they still have another shot at the the Broncos at Arrowhead.

The ensuing bye week gives the Chiefs two weeks to game-plan for a Chargers team who is currently ranked first in the AFC West at (4-1). If the Chiefs can use this to their advantage and beat the Chargers on the road, which is very possible if they can put pressure on Phillip Rivers and actually buckle down and become the run first team that they need to be. The Chiefs then have two favorable home games against the Rams and Jets which are both very winnable with the way those two teams have been playing this season.

We could all of the sudden be looking at a (5-3) Chiefs team who is (1-1) in the division heading into week ten of the season. They will still has three divisional home games, and an away game against the Raiders. I don’t think we can yet discount the Chiefs from winning the division, and that makes them dangerous.
