4.) Releasing S Daniel Sorensen

I have been critical of Sorensen since preseason and have been continually perplexed at his continued presence on the Chiefs’ roster. I mean, sure, we are thin at safety, but honestly the two safeties the Chiefs cut to make the final 53 both showed me more than Sorensen. Apparently this guy is great in practice and HC Andy Reid likes kids from BYU, but he did nothing but get beat in coverage all through preseason. He continued his “do nothing good” policy in the Titans game by doing nothing good, then doing something outright bad by jumping offsides on a Titans punt, giving them a free 1st down.

It wasn’t the deciding factor in the game or anything, but was another example of the sort of boneheaded move that was a “gimme” to the opponent. You can’t keep making those and win.
