1)      JC and DAT

This one is pretty obvious.

When both Jamaal and De’Anthony Thomas are on the field, opposing defensive coordinators are going to have to have a specific game plan to combat it. With both of them in the backfield, the threat of a screen pass is huge to either one of them. Besides that, double wheel routes are also a possibility, and I would absolutely love to see linebackers guarding either of them as they sprint down the field.

With both of them on the field at once, Jamaal or DAT could line up out wide as well, causing even more matchup problems on quick bubble screens or even pass routes. While De’Anthony has more experience lining up wide and running routes, Jamaal has proven that he is a capable route runner. Besides that, if teams do overplay the pass, DAT showed that he was a more than capable runner out of the backfield, and his explosiveness could cause problems on off tackle run plays.

2)      JC, DAT, and Knile Davis

This one might seem a little more farfetched, but hear me out. One thing that most Addicts agree on is our lack of receiving fire power will be something we have to work around as a team. While we do have options that have been examined, such as Travis Kelce, there is definitely a hole at receiver.

With this personnel grouping, the weapons we could have out wide suddenly get a lot more interesting. Imagine a four wide set with this personnel grouping. Dwayne Bowe and Travis Kelce on the outside with JC and DAT lined up in the slot. Knile Davis in the backfield provides a very strong threat for running plays as well, so teams can’t sell out on the outside. Jet sweeps, double bubble screens, quick out and slant combinations.

There are quite a few possibilities with this personnel grouping, and while it may not be a common one, look for Andy Reid to utilize it at different points of the season.
