Just Blog Baby’s Chase Ruttig had a post about the addition of veterans on the Oakland Raiders roster. In the post he talks about Taiwan Jones and how he feels the addition of many veterans to this team are helpful because of the attitude and their work effort.

No doubt he is right in saying that veterans bring a big presence in the locker room and on the field. They can give wisdom and with their experience can change the outlook of a team. The Raiders have seemingly been in salary cap hell in trying to rebuild the team. This off season the Raiders have been very busy adding key free agents in an attempt to bring themselves of the basement of the AFC West. Additions like quarterback Matt Schaub, and their first pick in the 2014 Draft Khalil Mack, were brought in, for hopes of turning around this once struggling team.

What does this mean for the Chiefs? Well all the additions the Raiders brought in that could have an impact on how this team will preform in 2014. However the notion is really to assume that the Raiders will still be in the bottom of the AFC West. Still all the changes the Raiders have made could in fact be positive for this team as they attempt to gain some footing in an AFC West dominated by red and orange.
