2. Trent Green

Kansas City continues its trend of finding quarterbacks through the trade and free agents with number 2 on the Top 5, Trent Green.

Green a quarterback who was brought in by then Head Coach Dick Vermeil when he took over for the team in 2001. Green was a slow starter in the offense but eventually he would go on to be one of the better passers in recent Chiefs memory. His best year was in 2004 in which he threw for a staggering 4591 yards and 27 touchdowns and 17 interceptions. He represented the Chiefs in the Pro Bowl twice in 2003 and 2005.

Though Green was never able to get that elusive playoff win, he is still remembered fondly along with Coach Vermeil as helping turn around the Chiefs after a few bad seasons.
