1. Len Dawson

As if there was any doubt that the number one Kansas City Chiefs quarterback was the great Lenny Dawson.

Len came over to the Chiefs in 1962 from the Cleveland Browns. When Dawson took over head coach Hank Stram knew he had found the leader his team was missing. Not only did Len leads the Kansas City Chiefs to the first ever Superbowl after the merger, but he was able to steal the victory over the Minnesota Vikings in Superbowl 4, in what was an upset at the time.

Dawson still holds the record for most touchdowns in a single season with 30, which is surprising that it has not been broken. Len still is within the organization and can be heard on the Chiefs Radio Network every Sunday.
