Vic Beasley – 6’2 235lbs – Clemson

The knock on Beasley has been his size but that hasn’t stopped him from terrorizing opposing offensive lines and quarterbacks. So far this year, Beasley has 26 tackles, 10 sacks, 16 tackles for a loss, three forced fumbles, five passes defended, and one fumble recovery returned for a touchdown. The 2012 season is what put Beasley on the map. He totaled eight sacks but was only a situational pass rusher so aside from his eight sacks, he only had 14 tackles. I’m not terribly concerned about Beasley’s height because that can be compensated for with technique but he most certainly will have to add some weight if he wants to be dominant in the NFL. Beasley should be a first round pick and will probably be a steal for a team in the bottom half of the first round.
