And the 2016 NFL Draft is in the books, Addicts!

Man, it was pretty crazy.  You had trades, you had runs on certain positions, you had players falling, you even had a legit scandal!!  Are we sure this isn’t scripted?  Both Laremy Tunsil and Myles Jack are top headlines that will be covered extensively over the next couple of months.

More from Kansas City Chiefs Draft

The Kansas City Chiefs had an interesting opening night.

Fans watched as popular name after popular name disappeared from the draft board.  The Giants broke my heart early on as they took Eli Apple at No. 10.  Many fans felt a similar pain when they saw the Bengals grab William Jackson III.  And most tragic of all…my official predictions for the draft got off to a bad start as the Steelers stole Artie Burns.

So this week is going to be a little different.  I’m not going to be providing all the NFL news and rumors…sorry, there’s just too much and the draft is more than enough.  Instead, I’m going to go down the league and grade each team’s opening night.

Now, for each team, I am grading the totality of their work on Thursday night…not just the pick itself.  For a lot of teams, that’s really the same thing, but there were plenty of teams that put in a lot of phone work last night, and that should be commended whenever it pays off.

So, on to Day 1 of the 2016 NFL Draft…

Next: Onto the picks...
