A Child Among the Reid’s

What child is this, for one we wished, was found among the Reid’s.

Through years of pain, we found no gain, then heaven sowed the seed.

Reared in L.A., Brigham Young where he played, his roots were in the west.

In Philly he toiled, super plans were foiled, then thrown from the eagles nest.

At Christmas last year, he left in good cheer, and was instantly Clark hunted.

The first of great moves, with nothing to loose, he hit the ground ‘n grunted,

“Game speed” we will practice, like we just sat on cactus, and take it one game at a time.

And for the first time in 20, with weapons aplenty, a playoff win appears primed.
