(3) vs. (6)
Well, I was sitting around this afternoon watching the Kansas City Brigade’s first ever playoff game. It is Wild-Card Weekend in the Arena League and the Chiefs Brigade are playing the Colorado Crush (I hate their colors almost as much as those Donkeys). So I have decided to blog the 2nd half for anyone that is as bored as I am on a Saturday afternoon. Did I mention that I am under a tornado and flash flood warning where I live? That’s the fun part about living in Missouri.
First Half Recap:
The Brigade started off slow [...]

Blogging the Brigade (2nd Half)
Saturday Chiefs Wallpaper
I know I missed you guys last week, so I decided to drop two wallpapers on ya.
I am going to start breaking down my predictions for the Chiefs Schedule throughout the season. Since I am not a writer and don’t pretend to be one, this will let me be analytical. Chris , over at Arrowhead Pride, thinks we will be around 10-6 or 8-8 this season. Thats not a hard assumption to make since the Chiefs almost always end up with that record, but hey, right now I got us finishing 9-7. Check it out:
1 @ Houston
W – Brodie or Huard? Doesn’t matter
2 @ Chicago
L – No way we go up [...]
Royals with Vs
As in victories (because I reference my favorite line from Pulp Fiction any time I can)! Our Kansas City Royals had their first winning month since July 2003, ending the longest such drought in MLB. Our boys also swept the mighty Anaheim of Los Angeles of Orange County of California of… the Angels, wherever the hell they call home now.
Maybe this is a sign of what’s to come? Hey, you never know. At least we’re seeing some progress.
VS.
Hopefully, this match-up will last a little longer than the last one.
A few things to remember about Otis Taylor:
When he retired he held almost every Kansas City Chiefs receiving record.
Twice topped the 1,000-yard receiving mark in a season.
Led the Chiefs in receptions (season) five times.
Made possibly the biggest play in the Chiefs’ Super Bowl IV victory — a physical, highlight reel-worthy 46-yard TD catch.
Was a three-time All-Star (AFL and NFL).
Len Dawson said the following about Taylor, “Otis made my job easy.” Those are strong words coming from the No. 1 seed in this entire tournament.
Only played for the Chiefs.

The COAT Chief Sixteen: Who should advance?

16. Jan Stenerud (7%, 3 Votes)
Total Voters: 46
I’m gonna have to call this one. Let’s move on…
Is it just me, or does this…
… look like a fullback?
Now, I know some of you don’t like him, and for the most part (even though I do like him) I can see why. I also have heard all the comparisons to this guy … and this guy… and especially this guy… way too often. In fact, the whole subject has been discussed ad nauseam. Nonetheless, Larry Johnson isn’t signed and people are still debating, so…
Why not compare L.J. to this guy… or this guy… or EVEN this guy instead of the abovementioned RBs? His stats are more along those lines anyway, and while LaDainian Tomlinson is the best [...]
