2. Jacksonville Jaguars @ Pittsburgh Steelers
Game Time: Sunday, October 29, 12:00 PM CT
Odds Via DraftKings Sportsbook: Jaguars (-2.5)
TV: CBS/NFL Sunday Ticket
Jacksonville is an ascending team that could begin to discuss taking one of the top spots in the AFC by the end of the season. With so many weapons on offense, all they truly need is some defensive consistency. The Jaguars are young and well-coached. With a little luck, they could find themselves in the thick of it in the playoffs.
Pittsburgh has been one of the NFL's most unreliable teams. On one hand, they have a tremendous defense that has the capability of completely taking over a game. On the other, they have an offense that has never looked in sync despite its having talented playmakers. Pittsburgh is one of those teams that needs to prove it. With Baltimore and Cleveland beginning to look like viable contenders, they cannot afford to drop another game.
The bottom line: I think it's going to be a close one. The Steelers are so good on defense that they could make a big play and turn everything on its head. With that being said, I expect the Jaguars to find a way to sneak out of Pittsburgh with a win.
Prediction: Jaguars 21, Steelers 17
