3. Don't be stupid

For the astute observers, I wrote the exact same thing a couple of weeks ago. Let's be honest, the Chiefs are so much better than the Broncos that one of the only ways they lose this game is if they hand it to them on a silver platter.

This cannot be a game where Kansas City goofs around and constantly makes dumb mistakes. Don't turn the ball over or run bizarre fake field goals in the red zone, like in Week 6, do not make reckless decisions on fourth down, don't run stupid plays on third and short, don't take unnecessary penalties, and don't try to be a hero.

To be honest, the Chiefs can probably afford to lose the turnover battle by one in this game and still be fine. They're so much better than the Broncos on both sides of the ball that they have a lot more margin for error than in most other games. If Kansas City loses, it most likely won't be because Denver genuinely outplayed them.
