2. Pressure Russell Wilson

As with pretty much every quarterback in football, Russell Wilson is worse when under pressure. His passer rating dips from 103.1 to 90.2 when pressured and has also had a fumbling issue.

When it comes to generating pressure, it doesn't really matter whether Steve Spagnuolo blitzes or not. His passer rating drops from 108.7 to 70.9 when blitzed, including a dreadful 0.0 against the Chiefs in Week 6.

The Broncos receiving core isn't scary enough against a stacked Kansas City secondary to justify not blitzing. The Chiefs can cover the Denver receivers, as displayed a couple of weeks ago, so Spagnuolo should not be afraid to blitz heavily in this game.

Based on recent history, the odds of generating a turnover or sack, or at least an incompletion, are greater than the odds of getting burned when blitzing Wilson. Given how well Charles Omenihu played in his season debut last Sunday, blitzing may not always be necessary, but generating pressure on Russell Wilson is a must in this game.
