The Kansas City Chiefs have been back at it in training camp for about a month now and with the regular season inching closer, the players are letting their silly sides show a little more. Typically, when watching Chiefs games, Patrick Mahomes is all business but he showed a humorous side in a recent practice.

The Chiefs social media team shared moments from Mahomes being mic'ed up and captured some absolute gems from the starting quarterback. Two of the main highlights include Mahomes forgetting to put his pants pads on and continuously telling his teammates and coaches, "I forgot to put on my pants" and also talking up his taco skills.

The taco bit comes up when Mahomes is talking to Travis Kelce and Joe Thuney on the sidelines, telling them "You should see me do some ground beef on the stove dude. Get that thing seasoned right, lay it out, marinate it a little bit. I'll throw some cheese on top of that" and then he and Kelce both make noises indicating the tacos would be fire, as the kids are saying.

Oh, Mahomes finishes with "I make some great tacos, dude." Which, of course, he does. The man was born an All-Pro at anything he attempts.

These moments obviously don't mean anything when it comes to the roster makeup or anything like that but it's fun to see these guys goofing off and having a good time. Hopefully sometime Mahomes can fire up some ground beef tacos for the entire roster so others can vouch for if his tacos are as good as he says they are.

I guess in the mean time we'll have to take his word for it.
