Just in case you wanted to know how Patrick Mahomes felt about the Kansas City Chiefs draft class—at least how it's shaping up—the star quarterback took to Twitter to profess his love of the team's general manager, Brett Veach, to the masses.

Just as he should.

Chiefs Kingdom has been singing Veach's praises over the first two nights of the 2024 NFL Draft along with Mahomes after watching the GM move up in both the first and second rounds in order to secure young, high-ceiling talent at two of the team's greatest areas of need.

Patrick Mahomes made his approval of the Chiefs draft plans quite clear on Friday night.

Mahomes clearly approves of what Veach is doing. On Thursday night, Veach moved up four spots in the first round of the 2024 draft in a deal with the Buffalo Bills that allowed the team to select wide receiver Xavier Worthy from the Texas Longhorns. That move gave the Chiefs the fastest weapon in the draft, a wideout who will work with Hollywood Brown to stretch the field vertically.

In the second round, Mahomes once again must have been pleased with the addition of yet another offensive pick. The Chiefs moved up a single spot in a trade with the San Francisco 49ers in order to secure the services of Brigham Young offensive tackle Kingsley Suamataia. Together with Wanya Morris and Jawaan Taylor, he gives the Chiefs great competition and plenty of youth at an important position.

In response to it all, Mahomes had a simple but important message.

We couldn't agree more.
