There are plenty of preseason NFL games being televised on a national level this summer to check out.

The slates are clear. The expectations are high. Every fan base has reason to hope at this point. Every NFL team has made plenty of changes this offseason, and each roster is filled with strengths and weaknesses. And as they say around these parts, "any given Sunday," right?

It's here in the NFL's preseason that teams start to show their true colors. Players begin to sizzle and generate significant buzz. Others look out of place, as if the game is too much for them. Some rookies take to their new teams immediately while others lag behind. The sorting begins in earnest here in the three weeks of the NFL's preseason.
