Kelce brothers launch their own cereal mix with General Mills (because of course)

When you can't add anything else to your plate, you turn to your bowl.

This summer has been one to remember, and no, we're not talking about record-breaking heat waves or political shifts across the country. Instead, we're talking about Travis Kelce and his brother Jason, and their ever-increasing popularity and reach that seems to know no end.

Travis, the star tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs, and Jason Kelce, the longtime All-Pro center for the Philadelphia Eagles, already own the broadcasting world with their mega-hit podcast, New Heights, which garners nearly two million listeners for every episode. They also added to their arsenal early last month when they became co-owners of an Ohio-based light beer brand called Garage Beer.

Now the Kelce brothers are adding even more to their plate. (Or should we say their bowl?) The siblings will now be the face of a special General Mills product that will combine the duo's three favorite cereals: Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Reese's Puffs, and Lucky Charms.

The two future Hall of Famers have talked cereal before this, likely spawning the idea of the "Kelce Mix", when they discussed their favorite brands and breakfasts on a New Heights episode back in December of 2023.

"We’d go through two to three boxes of our favorite cereals a week when we were growing up," Travis Kelce said about the partnership. "So being able to team up with General Mills now is a full circle moment for us."

"The only thing Travis and I know more about than football is cereal – so we’re honored to take home the victory and consider ourselves officially inducted into cereal culture with Kelce Mix," Jason Kelce added via a press release.

In addition to the "Kelce Mix" you will also be seeing the three-time and one-time Super Bowl champions' faces on limited edition General Mills cereals like Honey Nut Cheerios, Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Reese's Puffs and Lucky Charms. This marks the second time the Chiefs' superstar has been on the cover of a cereal, with the first coming last year thanks to Hy-Vee's "Kelce's Crunch" which was similar to his quarterback's cereal venture a few years earlier.

So, if you're keeping track, Kelce is the second Kansas City Chief to be on the cover of a cereal box, following up a huge marketing blitz from Hy-Vee's special "Mahomes Magic Crunch" just a few years ago (below).

The cereal concoction will be available in September at all major retailers like Walmart, Dillon's, and Hy-Vee for roughly $6 per box. Even if you don't like the mixture of cereals, or maybe you don't even eat sugary cereals, the boxes themselves will be seen as collectibles, much like Mahomes' cereal. Be sure to grab one for the shelf alongside any Chiefs memorabilia!
