Every year at this time is tough at the NFL's roster cuts deadline. For teams, it means potentially letting go of some promising young talent who has just not quite developed enough (and the subsequent fears that another team might prosper from him). For players, it's either the fulfillment or the denial of their dream to play professional football for another year.

This year, the Kansas City Chiefs are facing some particularly tough decisions when it comes to personnel. As one of the league's deepest teams, other franchises are bound to feast on a player or three when players hit waivers following Brett Veach's final decisions. But it also doesn't help the Chiefs that some present absences (due to injury, suspension, and/or holdout) are complicating the short-term picture as well.

The Chiefs have until Tuesday at 3:00 p.m. C.T. to submit their final roster cuts, which will bring down the active roster to 53 players (or less). If the Chiefs are interested in making some roster additions, they will bring that down to 51 or 52. Needless to say, given the current count of 90 players on the Chiefs roster, there are going to be a lot of sorrowful goodbyes at Arrowhead over the next couple of days.

Below is an updated list of Chiefs roster cuts as they come through the wire. Keep this page bookmarked as we will be adding as news breaks over the next couple of days.
